Bo Horvat's departure from the Vancouver Canucks didn't sit well with a lot of people, today he represents the western conference one last time being a member of team pacific as the Allstar weekend starts it's 3 on 3 tournament.
Before the first game of the 3 on 3 tournament kicked off, Horvat and former teammate Elias Pettersson made a pact and if I'm honest, it's heartbreaking.
One last time, let's connect for one goal' Horvat said to Pettersson before the opening face-off. Shortly after, they did just that when Horvat Fed Pettersson for his first of the game.
I know the National Hockey League is a business, but it's hard not to feel for Horvat, who thought he would spend his entire career within the Canucks organization.
The Allstar game weekend has been much of a none event in recent years, but it's interactions like this that must mean the world to players, especially one with a circumstance like Horvat.
This is the last time Horvat and Pettersson with team up together. Come Monday, it's likely Horvat will be in the lineup as a member of the New York Islanders.
