James Van Riemsdyk and Phil Kessel played three seasons together for the Toronto Maple Leafs and shared some time together on the International stage with Team USA. The pair also seem to be pretty good friends off the ice.

With Keith Yandle's Ironman Streak ending last weekend. Kessel becomes the new active leader with 968 consecutive games played. 21 games behind Yandle (989 games) for the record.

Kevin McGran of the Toronto Star was talking to JVR about Kessel's active Ironman streak and he had this hilarious quote:

I'm sure a lot of the strength and conditioning specialists are at a loss for words.

A pretty savage and funny quote by a former Teammate in JVR. I'm sure Kessel with be knocking down a few dogs and sodas this offseason as he trains to take over the NHL's active Ironman Streak next season.
