Jake Allen makes one of the best stick saves you'll ever see (Video)
In the first period of tonight's game between the Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings, Jake Allen was bombarded with 25 shots and he made 25 saves. But none of those save were anywhere near as impressive as the save he made late in the 2nd period.
As the puck goes cross ice to Andrew Copp it appears he has Jake Allen completely beat. Copp rips a shot to the perfect spot in the net, but somehow a sprawling Jake Allen gets across the net and gets his stick on the puck.
Despite making 37 saves on 38 shots the Canadiens were unable to offer their goaltender any support and the Canadiens went onto lose 3-0 after giving up 2 empty net goals late.
