Jordan Binnington gets a misconduct penalty for 'inciting'
Earlier this week Jordan Binnington found out that players are no longer going to put up with his antics any longer. After he attempted to hit Jordan Staal behind the net, Staal responded with a hit or his own. Now tonight Binnington was up to his old antics.
Less than 2 minutes into the 2nd period with the Blues trailing 3-1, Binnington gives up a goal to Jason Zucker. After the goal the Blues opted to pull Binnington and on his way to the bench he had some words for Zucker.
Binnington in classic form tried to approach the Penguin's bench before being intercepted by the referee. On the play Binnington was given a misconduct penalty for trying to 'incite' the Pens bench. This is just another example of Binnington showing he's absolutely unhinged.
