Josh Anderson dealt with serious infection after being bitten by an insect
The Montreal Canadiens lost more man games than any other team in the NHL last season. The team battled injuries from day one last season and never really came through that struggle. This year's preseason has also presented the Canadiens with significant challenges as well.
Josh Anderson, one of the Habs leaders has been away from the team dealing with what was described as an "upper body injury". The injury had not been disclosed, but today as Anderson return to practice word began to circulate that he was actually dealing with an infection. The infection reportedly stemmed from a spider bite on his finger.
Darren Dreger released the following information today:
Anda strange upper body injury it was. Anderson has been dealing with an infection caused by what is believed to be a spider bite to his finger.
Hopefully the injuries are behind Anderson, or at the very least he develops some Peter Parker like super powers.
