Last night, Justin Bieber held a concert in Montreal. It was one of the Canadian tour dates, as a part of the Justice World Tour.
It's no secret that Justin Bieber, has been a Toronto Maple Leafs fan for quite some time. He's made himself known in the hockey world, and has even built a friendship with Maple Leafs superstar, Auston Matthews.
While performing at the Bell Centre, Bieber, asked the crowd:
How about those Leafs huh?
That is when Bieber started getting booed by the crowd, and they began chanting:
Bieber also posed another question to the already upset crowd:
How's that playoff spot looking for you guys?
After that rhetorical question, you can hear many fans cursing and booing from their seats. It was to be expected. But, Bieber did not cross any lines by pointing out the obvious, while having a little fun with the Toronto/Montreal rivalry!
The Canadiens' club, was the first team to be eliminated from playoff contention for the 2022 Stanley cup playoffs. Some might say, this wasn't a classy move on Biebers part, but he certainly had fun with the crowd.
