Kane throwing fists in back to back games for the Oilers
Edmonton Oilers winger Evander Kane has had poor start to the season, through five games Kane only has one assist and carries an ugly -6. During the Oilers last game against the Winnipeg Jets, Kane was relegated to the third line and got into a spirited tilt with Jets defenceman Brenden Dillon.
The Oilers are visiting the Minnesota Wild tonight and it appears Kane's feisty mood has carried over from last game. With the score 1-1 Kane and Wild forward Brandon Duhaime squared off to fight. It took a little bit for the pair to get untangled, eventually Kane got free first and landed a couple shots before dragging Duhaime to the ice. They both received five minutes for fighting.
Kane has an assist and a fight so far tonight. He only needs to score a goal to complete The Gordie Howe Hat Trick. The Oilers lead 3-2 in the second period.
