Kirby Dach receives an abuse of officials penalty after calling referee a 'b***h' and slamming penalty box door
In the 2nd period of last night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators, Kirby Dach was called for two minor penalties. Dach was unhappy with the first penalty for slashing Thomas Chabot, but he was able to now allow his emotions to get the best of him. That was until he was called for a second penalty, this time for interfering with Brady Tkachuk.
After the second penalty Dach had enough, immediately turning to the referee and giving him a piece of his mind. On his way to the box Dach continued his outburst before slamming the penalty box door.
According to some lip readers, on his way to the penalty box Dach called the referee a "bitch" which is what likely caused the additional penalty he received on the play. The Canadiens went on to lose the game 3-2, and after the game Head Coach, Martin St. Louis was also unhappy with the calls on the ice.
