The LA Kings were down 1-0 late in the 2nd period, against the Colorado Avalanche.
With just under a minute to play in the 2nd period, Ane Kopitar was on the verge of a clear breakaway until, Cale Makar's back-check spoiled his breakaway opportunity.
Darcy Kuemper, shut down Kopitar on the play. That's when Cale Makar then stripped Kopitar of the puck, forcing a turnover; resulting in a goal for Cale Makar at the other end of the ice.
That's when Ane Kopitar let out some frustration, throwing a water bottle down the tunnel. It was obvious he was frustrated.
The LA Kings have a record of 33W-21L-8OTL. The Kings have lost 3 games out of their last 5 games played. Could that be another reason for a frustrated Kopitar?
