2-time Stanley Cup Champion passes away

The New York Islanders and Barry Trotz, have expressed their condolences for the Potvin family. This comes after the passing of 2-time Stanley Cup Champion, Jean Potvin. He was 72 years old.
Mr. Potvin played 613 NHL games, while accumulating 287 total points. Earning himself 63 career goals and 224 assists.
He also won the Stanley Cup twice, playing alongside his brother Denis Potvin in 1980 and 1981, for the New York Islanders.
Barry Trotz addressed the media today saying:
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Potvin family because they are a big part of the Islanders family.
Originally from Hull, Quebec. Jean Potvin was born March 25, 1949. He passed away at the age of 72, on March 15, 2022.
