Just over a week ago, a video surfaced of a fight breaking out in a beer league hockey game in Burnaby, British Columbia. What was different about this one is that the goon of the league finally went too far and kicked another player in the face with his skate blade. Something that could've resulted in much more serious injuries then it did. Now that "beer league hero" is finally facing some consequences.
Brandon Gee-Moore has been suspended for life by the Adult Safe Hockey League. Now RCMP are also investigating Gee-Moore for assualt follwing the attack on July 29th. It seems like only a matter of time before he is charged as Burnaby RCMP stated they are still in the process of speaking with players and witnesses. They will most likely be pressing charges and are just trying to sort out to what degree.
Anyone who has ever played beer league hockey knows that one player who shouldn't be allowed on the ice. That person who seems like they are trying to injure someone every game or is suspended every other game for something. Well that person was Brandon Gee-Moore and he has finally crossed the line of no return after a lifetime suspension.
As for the victim, despite requiring medical attention he managed to avoid serious injury.
