Little Canucks fan gives savage answer about Maple Leafs last Stanley Cup
Being a fan of a National Hockey League team for nearly forty years that many consider to be the center of the hockey universe you learn graciously that the Toronto Maple Leafs are either universally loved or hated and quite often there is no in-between.
Recently on the Maple Leafs yearly west coast road swing at Rogers Arena in Vancouver during a stoppage in play, a girl was asked by the in-game host to share when she believed a photo shown on the jumbotron was taken.
While the photo looks to have been taken during the 1920s or 1930s the little girl replies without hesitation, <>.
Ribbing between fans has gone on for as long as the game has been in existence and will continue forever. Conversely, the idea of teaching them young also comes to mind.
Either way, she had the perfect answer to a question that many people have learned to put their own spin on for nothing else, then for the love of the game.
