Maple Leafs' forward drawing criticism after 'insensitve' choice of words
Michael Bunting broke a 17-game goalless drought last night. The 26-year-old rookie had struggled to find that back of the net and after the game he addressed how the pressure in Toronto could impact players in the market. Unfortunately Bunting chose a word that has appeared to have upset some fans.
The comment made by Bunting that appears to have upset people, seems harmless but that's not how many appear to have taken it:
You can't get too low on the lows or you'll kill yourself.
While the comment on it's own doesn't seem like much, unfortunately social media got hold of the comment and of course they ran with it.
Leave it to the internet to find a way to get upset about something that no one cares about.
