Michael Pezzetta drops Connor Mackey with a massive right hand
Late in the 1st period of tonight's game between the Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames, Michael Pezzetta and Connor Mackey dropped the gloves. The two faced off at center ice to try and spark their teams. Unfortunately for Mackey that didn't work out how he'd hoped.
After Mackey began the fight with a couple big shots, he was caught by a huge right hand by Pezzetta. The right hand from Pezzetta landed flush on the chin of Mackey, buckling his knees.
Both men received fighting majors on the play. Heading into the 3rd period the two teams were still tied at 1-1.
