Mugshot of former Coyotes forward Alex Galchenyuk has been released
In the last 24 hours, a lot of news has come out surrounding former third overall pick Alex Galchenyuk after he was placed on unconditional waivers by the Arizona Coyotes.
Shortly after he was place on waivers for contract termination, it was revealed that Galchenyuk was arrested by Scottsdale Police on numerous charges including private property hit and run, disorderly conduct, failure to obey, resisting arrest, threatening or intimidating.
More details were released on Friday via The Athletic including that Galchenyuk allegedly made serious threats of harm towards an officer and their family, as well as calling another officer a racial slur.
Later on Friday evening, Ford Hatchett, a reporter with ABC15 in Phoenix, released Alex Galchenyuk's mugshot on his Twitter account.
"Here is the mugshot of Alex Galchenyuk who a was arrested Sunday in Scottsdale.
The 3rd overall pick in the 2012 NHL Draft was booked under his legal name (Alexander Galtcheniouk) and held in custody on six charges including hit and run and resisting arrest."
