New details have been made public on the arrest of NHLer Alex Galchenyuk, and this story has taken a really dark turn. A police report obtained by 12News in Scottsdale states officers at the scene endured horrible and grisly threats that included them and their families.
According to the police report, the suspect at the scene on July 9th threatened to "chop up" an officer, and also told them he would cut out the kidneys of the officer's family members.
"'I will end your bloodline,' the suspect allegedly told Scottsdale police. 'One phone call and you're dead.'" - 12News According to 12News, Galchenyuk's father was at the scene of the accident with his son and told police he had never witnessed his son act so aggressively toward anyone. The police report states Galchenyuk displayed "signs of impairment." An officer also accused Galchenyuk of directing a racial slur at an African-American officer at the scene of his arrest.
