NFL rookie reportedly shot multiples time during an attempted robbery
It wasn't long ago that Mitch Marner was robbed at gun point while trying to attend a movie at a local movie theatre. Marner was able to get out of the situation without injury, but did have his vehicle stolen. Now it appears that another professional athlete has been robbed, but this athlete wasn't as lucky.
According to multiple reports the rookie running back for the Washington Commanders has been shot multiples times during an attempted robbery.
Commanders rookie RB Brian Robinson has been shot multiple times in robbery attempt, per @nbcwashington. Sources tell me it's non life threatening. Much more to come.
Robinson was expected to make his NFL debut when the season began in a couple of weeks. Robinson is reportedly in stable condition?
