After his antics in last nights game, it looks like the punishment has been announced for Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk and It looks like he'll miss some time.
According to the Department of Player Safety after the hearing earlier today Tkachuk has been issued a 2-game suspension.
Florida's Matthew Tkachuk has been suspended for two games for High-sticking Los Angeles' Jonathan Quick. Tkachuk intentionally put the blade of his stick through Quick's mask sparking a melee at the end of the game with just 0.8 seconds left on the clock in the third period.
It's good to see they're taking these kinds of things seriously, given their reputation, the DoPS doesn't always act the way they should, they got this one right on my books
