The Nashville Predators drafted Zachary L'Heureux in the 1st round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old is currently in his 4th and final year in the QMJHL. L'Heureux's time in the Q has been fairly eventful as the young prospect has found himself in trouble on more than a couple occasions.

In just over 27 months L'Heureux has been suspended 8 times, including three for high sticking and two for unsportsmanlike conduct. He has so far been suspended for a total of 27 games so far. On Wednesday night L'Heureux found himself in even more trouble.

After a shootout loss L'Heureux allegedly speared a 16-year-old fan 4-5 times with his stick. Something you'd expect the league to take very seriously.

The QMJHL reportedly investigated the incident and issued the following statement on the matter.

In the absence of any video evidence or unbiased witnesses, the QMJHL will not levy any disciplinary mesures following last night's game between the Gatineau Olympiques and the Halifax Mooseheads

This statement came as a surprise to many as it doesn't issue claim that the incident didn't occur, but simply states they're unable to prove if it occurred. Given L'Heureux reputation this is just the latest in a long line of incidents where he couldn't control his temper.

Update video has surfaced of the incident.
