Nathan MacKinnon walks Darnell Nurse with his best Connor McDavid impression
The Colorado Avalanche scored three straight goals, including the overtime winner to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 last night. After being down 2-0 after the first period, Nathan MacKinnon scored a highlight reel goal to get the Avalanche back into the game. Check out the replay for a really nice goal.
Goals like this seem to be typical for MacKinnon. He blows past defenders with his speed and stick handling ability and easily puts one past the goaltender. This is what makes MacKinnon such a special player and he is joy to watch.
No doubt Colorado has to be thrilled to have MacKinnon back in the lineup every night. He had missed some time in earlier December with an upper-body injury so to see him back out there is great news. Colorado has already dealt with plenty of injury news this season. MacKinnon looks to stay healthy and help Colorado get into playoff position.
