Nino Niederreiter hits Ryan Lindgren directly in the numbers

During last night's Game 7 matchup between the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes, there were multiple hits that drew fan attention. In the 1st period, Jacob Trouba ended Seth Jarvis' night with a huge hit. Jarvis was unable to get to his feet and was forced to crawl to the bench.
Hurricanes' fans were definitely upset about the Trouba. In the second period, Nino Niederreiter gave Rangers' fans something to be upset about of their own.
As Ryan Lindgren tracked back a puck, Niederreiter positioned himself directly behind him and delivered a hit right in the numbers.
Least surprisingly, despite the referee being in perfect position there was no call on the hit. Lindgren would leave the game, but return after approximately 10-minutes.
