Nylander loses his temper and nearly gets ejected after cheap shot

The Toronto Maple Leafs are playing the Columbus Blue Jackets in Toronto tonight, a game that you think would have little edge, but it has some heat.
With the game sitting at 2-1, Leafs forward William Nylander loses his cool after fanning on a shot and nearly costs Toronto dearly. Take a look:
It's not too often you see Nylander lose his cool like that, but nearly butt-ending someone in the face isn't too smart. Although, that did kind of look like a dive on the other end of things as well.
The initial call on the play was a 5 minute major but after a quick review, it was down graded to a 2 minute minor for roughing. Which, appears to be the right call in this situation.
