Former first round pick by the Arizona Coyotes, Brendan Perlini has played in 23 games for the Edmonton Oilers this season where he has only managed to score 4 goals and 1 assist.
Today the Oilers placed him on waivers with the purpose of assigning him to Bakersfield in the AHL. But, looks like they forgot to let a special someone know!
One thing many General Manager's do is atleast give a courtesy call to players to let them know of their intentions. For example last week Ryan Dzingel shared how much he was appreciative of Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas called after his trade.
Doesn't look like Oilers GM Ken Holland believes in the same system. Brendan Perlini's mother took to Twitter to express her frustration.
Pretty darn bad when the players has to find out from his mom off Twitter don't ya think!!!
Fan's definitely took this opportunity to bash on the organization over multiple times of mishandling of situations.
