Is a William Nylander for Trevor Zegras trade in the works? One insider believes it could be
Sometimes there is a situation where two teams can come together and help each other. While trade partners who are a perfect match aren't impossible to find, they are very rare. However, Matt Murley of Spittin' Chiclets fame believes the Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs could be perfect partners.
The Ducks currently have two camp holdouts in Jamie Drysdale and Trevor Zegras, while the Leafs have William Nylander entering the final year of his contract. Murley believes that the Leafs and Zegras are a perfect fit, while the Ducks would happily pay Nylander the $10,000,000 a season he is hoping for.
While this trade seems like a longshot, stranger things have happened. Reports also indicate that every day that Zegras remains unsigned it becomes even more unlikely that he'll ever return to Anaheim.
So do you see a fit for these two teams?
