Pane of glass falls on young fan, but Brady Tkachuk saves the days
The Ottawa Senators faced off against the Seattle Kraken on Saturday night in Canada's Nation Capital. The Ottawa Senators lost to the Kraken 8-4, but the night was almost much worse for one young Sens fan.
As Jamie Oleksiak carried the puck around his own net and towards the blueline he was met by a hit from Jake Lucchini. The hit propelled Oleksiak hard into the glass. The power somehow dislodged the pane of glass from it's seating. The pane of glass then fell onto a small child in the section.
The other fans in the area immediate came to their aid removing the fan from under the glass. While this was a scary situation, the young fan ended up being comforted by Brady Tkachuk who came over to check on the fan and gifted them both a puck and one of his game used stick.
The young fan was reportedly uninjured and appreciated Tkachuk's gesture.
