Florida Panthers forward to have hearing with Department of Player Safety after running Marc-Andre Fleury
Last night's Florida Panthers-Minnesota Wild game got rather heated. Whether it be fights, hits, or injuries, the game never had a dull moment.
Early in the 1st period last night, forward William Lockwood took out Marc-Andre Fleury behind the net, he would later leave the game. Now, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has announced a hearing for Lockwood; take a look.
Florida's William Lockwood will have a hearing today for goalie interference on Minnesota's Marc-Andre Fleury.
The hearing will be held today to discuss the punishment for goaltender interference.
Fleury has a history of head injuries and it does look like Lockwood makes and attempted to make direct contact with Fleury's head.
We'll see how many games he gets if any, knowing the DoPS, it wouldn't surprise me if it was just a fine.
