Pat Maroon's last post-season loss came when he was a member of the New Jersey Devils. Since then, he's been on fire, beginning with the St. Louis Blues cup run in 2019.

Solidifying Maroon himself, as a dynasty in the NHL you can do it without Michael or Scottie, but you need a Tarasensko and a Pietroangelo for sure.

Maroon is the first player to win the Cup in three consecutive seasons since 16 New York Islanders won it four straight times from 1980-83, including Mike Bossy, Clark Gillies, Denis Potvin, Billy Smith, and Bryan Trottier.

Maroon's offensive output was at his highest with the Oilers in 2016:

He was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on Feb. 29, 2016, and set NHL career highs in goals (27) and points (42) in 2016-17, when the Oilers came within one win of the Western Conference Final.

Since then he's been a career 4th liner and been more or less inconsistent in his time with the NHL, until 2019.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are rested up and waiting to see whose next, Game 7 between the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers will be tonight. Will Maroon's one-man dynasty be secure if Gallant makes it to the Eastern Conference Finals?
