Phil Kessel signs with a Western Conference team
After weeks of speculation and rumors it appears Phil Kessel has finally decided on where he'd like to continue his NHL career. After rumors swirled that he may sign with either the Calgary Flames or Edmonton Oilers, it appears he chose another Western Conference team.
The Knights announced the signing on their Twitter page.
The deal is for 1 year and has a cap hit of $1,500,000 for the season.
Phil Kessel is currently chasing Keith Yandle's Ironman record so it will be interesting to see how he is used by the Golden Knights.
