After an offseason which saw the Flyers trade for Ryan Ellis, Cam Atkinson, Rasmus Ristolainen and signing veteran free agents, Derick Brassard & Keith Yandle and Martin Jones the season has been quite a disappointment.
As of the time of writing, the Flyers are currently 15-24-9, good enough for tied for last in the Metropolitan division. This poor season has led to a lot of trade talk for the team and one defenceman that has garnered some interest for some contending teams is Justin Braun.
Braun a veteran of 770 games, has played in all 48 for the Flyers this year, and while he is not known for his offensive skills, he is a very good defensive defenceman who could help a contending team in the playoffs.
