With the NHL's trade deadline one day away we have been hearing alot of teams trying to acquire Marc-Andre Fleury but there's another goaltender that is suddenly drawing interest.

That goaltender, is none other then San Jose Sharks' goaltender, James Reimer. Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports that teams are showing interest in the veteran goaltender who has a decent contract of $2,500,000 and has one more year remaining on his deal unlike Fleury who's a UFA at the end of the season.

Reimer, 34, has a 15-13-6 record this season with a 2.82 goals against average and a .918 save percentage. The 4th round pick in 2006 has played in 421 games with a 188-144-49 career record. The Sharks goaltender has also played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, and notably the Toronto Maple leafs where he was drafted.

Could a possible return to Leafs nation be in the cards? The Leafs and Blackhawks couldn't make a deal to bring Fleury to the Buds. The Leafs are believed to be looking hard for another goaltender, could we quite possibly see the return of Optimus Reim?
