In tonight's clash between the Buffalo Sabres and the San Jose Sharks, Rasmus Dahlin delivered one of the biggest hits of this season. This season Dahlin has taken a significant step forward with his play both offensively and defensively.
During the second period Rasmus Dahlin lined up Matt Nieto perfectly and with Neito's head down, Dahlin delivered a huge hit. Luckily no one was injured on the play. Safe to say Nieto will think twice about keeping his head up when coming into the zone.
If Dahlin can continue to add physicality to his play, he'll be that much closer to putting himself in the upper echelon of defenders.
