Toronto Maple Leafs newly signed tough guy Ryan Reaves made an appearance on the Missin Curfew podcast with hosts Scottie Upshall and Shane O'Brien. Reaves tells a hilarious story about the time Keith Tkachuk pranked him.

Reaves was a rookie during the 2009-2010 training camp with the St. Louis Blues. This was the last professional season Keith Tkachuk played. Reaves was injured at the time when Big Walt (Tkachuk's nickname) tells Reaves to come over and try out this new massage water bed that was in the dressing room.

Reaves thinking to himself

"Why the F is he telling me to go in this massage bed, but what am I going to say no Big Walt. He's a legend F it."

Tkachuk sets the bed for thirty minutes which has Reaves asleep out cold drooling within the first ten minutes. Defenceman Bryce Salvador comes in and slams the bed to wake up a sleeping Reavo.

"No F*ing sleeping in the lockeroom."

Reaves wakes up and wipes the drool off his face to see his general manager Ray Barile staring at him.

Barile asks someone "Who's that kid?"

20 minutes later Reaves was heading to the AHL. He would stay in the AHL for the 2009-2010 season, then got a 28 game taste in the NHL the following season before becoming a full time NHLer during the 2011-2012 season.

The 36 year old signed a 3 year, $4,050,000 with Toronto on the opening of free agency.
