Referee gets in a fight with a fan and gets KO'd
Hockey is a game played off of emotion. Whether you're a player, a fan or the referee, sometimes the emotion gets the better of you and you chew off more than you can handle.
Take this instance for example, in what looks to be a rec hockey league game, a fan gets on the ice, seemingly to talk to the the ref about a call, the ref decides to push the fan and it goes down hill from there; take a look.

After the fan gets knocked down by the red, he quickly gets back up, turns hit hat around and grapples, proving that this isn't his first one ice tilt. Before long after a few shots, some of which are uppercuts, the ref goes down to the ice.
Listen, some hockey fans are unhinged to begin with, chances are if one of them gets on the ice, looking for a fight, he's fought before. The last thing the referee should do in that situation is provoke the fan. It's safe to say, he got what he deserved while being on the losing end of the fight.
Note to self: if you ever see a fan get on the ice, do not engage. You'll only end up embarrassing yourself while getting knocked out in the process.
