Scary scene as player has throat cut by skate

A scary scene is unfolded in Sweden as the Swedish women's final was being played between Lule� and Brynäs IF, one of the top players in the world Jenni Hiirikoski had her throat cut by a skate, take a look:

Scary scene at the Swedish womens final as Lule� defender Jenni Hiirikoski has a skate cut her throat. She was rushed to a hospital and is in stable condition. Lule� would end up winning the game after a 30 minute delay. from

Hiirikoski was tended to rather quickly on the ice, being rushed to the hospital and after a 30 minute delay, the game would resume and Hiirikoski�s team Lule� would go on to win the game. Hiirikoski Is now in stable condition.

Thank goodness for the fast acting players referees and staff, without them, this horrific event could've ended a lot differently
