The St Louis Blues and Colorado Avalanche continued their best of 7 series last night. With the series shifting to St. Louis, the Blues looked to use home ice to take control of the series.
After Samuel Girard was injured early in the game, there would be some additional controversy. Less than 7 minutes later, Nazem Kadri would crash into Jordan Binnington, injuring the goaltender.
After the collision Binnington was forced to leave the game. After the game the Blues provided an update on the goaltender.
Nothing definitive, but hearing from good sources that the Blues' fear tonight is they could lose Jordan Binnington for multiple weeks with a possible knee sprain. #stlblues @TheAthletic
If Binnington is set to miss significant time, there is a very good chance the Blues' season is over.
