Tampa Bay Lightning CEO reaches out to fan who was assaulted
By now almost everyone has seen the video of a New York Rangers fan knocking a Lightning fan unconscious with a sucker punch. The incident occured as fans left the stadium after the Lightning won Game 5. An arrest was made shortly after the incident happened.
The fan who was assaulted was taken to a nearby hospital where he is reportedly in stable condition. The victim's day definitely got better yesterday when he received a message from Lightning CEO.
It is always great to see teams reach out to fans, especially in this type of situation. The Lightning will get the opportunity to make the fans wish come true when Game 6 is played on Saturday.
