The Toronto Maple Leafs are on an incredible run as of late going 12-0-3 in their last 15 games. After defeating the Anaheim Ducks tonight, with goaltender Ilya Samsonov notching his second shut out in as many games in a 7-0 win, Samsonov shows pure he is

According to Mike Stephens of Sports Illustrated now and The Hockey News says that during his media availability after the game, with the Leafs player of the game belt over his shoulder, says he's going to sleep with the belt tonight take a look:

Samsonov, 25, through 11 games played with Toronto this season is 9-2-0 with 2 shutouts, a 1.87 goals against average and a .933 save percentage, which is near the top of the league to this point in the season.

It looks like, to this point in the season, the bets general manager Kyle Dubas made in goal during the off-season have worked out to this point. I'm just waiting for them to implode as usual come March and April.

Having said that, it's hard not to root for a personality like Samsonov, he just seems to be enjoying life and playing hockey.
