While Tie was a fighter, his son Max is more known as a point producer, but if you want to fight with him he will never turn down the opportunity.
Max Domi is a former Arizona Coyotes draft pick back in 2013, when they took him 12th overall.
In his rookie season he looked like he was thriving for greatness as he put up 18 goals and 52 points in 81 games for a low scoring Coyotes team.
After his rookie season he slowed down quite a bit, not even reaching 10 goals, until he was traded to Montreal. After the trade he once again looked like he was striving for greatness as he put up 28 goals, 72 points in 82 games.
The following season was not as great for Domi, dropping to 44 points in 71 games. He was later in the offseason traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Josh Anderson.
Domi is definitely capable of more than what he has shown in the NHL and is currently on the final year of a contract that pays him $5,300,000 so he is definitely looking to show teams what he can do to hit it big in the offseason.
While this is still only a rumour, it would be interesting to see if the Leafs would be interested in Domi as a mere rental, or if they would want to lockup the player longer term.
One thing I do know though, if he becomes a Leaf and doesn't choose the #28, the hockey world will be pretty upset.
