Sometimes things happen in the hockey world that we wish we never had to report on. When someone passes away, it's always tough, this one cuts a little deeper though.
According to Hockey News Hub Chaika HC is in morning as two of their players 13-year-old forward Maxim Lebedev and 12-year-old defenseman Artem Potapov tragically died in a car accident today.
This is something that is always tough. Two children that were just learning to live and who had their whole lives ahead of them taken far too soon.
Our condolences and thoughts are with the team, the players families and their communities.
