Trevor Zegras is changing things up after his rookie year, not only did he lose a linemate, he's losing #46. It was reported that the rookie wouldn't keep 46, in 2021-2022 and it seems that it ended up being true.

The results of a survey back in April lead most people to think he would shift to his college number of 13, with 46.1% leading the survey.

With this change, fans will have to shell out more cash for another Zegras sweater, despite him wearing 46 for his most iconic moments this season, including angering Philadelphia Flyers coach, John Tortorella.

It's been announced on the Anaheim Ducks website, that Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale will hold a meet and greet on September 18th at the Ducks team store, wearing their new numbers.

Fans currently owning a Zegras #46 or Drysdale #34 jersey will receive 46% off the new jersey (one jersey per customer). All other fans purchasing a new jersey will receive 17% off (11+6) at the event.

With any team store purchase (jersey or otherwise), fans can meet both players between 12-1:30 just outside the team store. Limited edition merchandise will also be available while supplies last.
