As the trade deadline draws closer by the day, it seems teams are using the waiver wire a little more, although they are depth moves, two forwards have been placed on waivers today.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Dryden Hunt of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Anton Blidh of the Colorado Avalanche have been placed on waivers today.
Hunt, 27, has already been placed on waivers a couple of times this season. Across 37 games split between the New York Ranger, Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Maple Leafs, he has 3 points, all of them goals
Blidh, 27, has spent the entire season to this point with the Colorado Avalanche skating in 13 games collecting no points.
Teams have until 2pm tomorrow to place a claim on either hunt or Blidh
In other news, Jonny Brodzinski has cleared waivers.
