Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Filip Hallander was injured in last night's game and was transported to Geisiger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
After testing and examination, Hallander was released from the hospital last night and is at home resting.
No further information on the injury will be released at this time.
The incident took place with 1:12 in the 3rd period after taking a hard hit and landing heavily on his head and neck area.
Thankfully Hallander is okay. This could've been a lot worse, especially considering the way he had to leave the game last night.
