Updated trade list for Patrick Kane reportedly doesn't include the Toronto Maple Leafs
Patrick Kane is expected to be the biggest prize of this year's trade deadline. The career Blackhawk is expected to approve a trade to give himself a chance at winning another Stanley Cup. Since the Hawks announced their full rebuild the belief has been that Kane has a very short list of teams he'd be willing to accept a trade to.
For every Insider you hear from it appears that Kane has a different list. But now Kevin Weekes, who is considered one of the top insiders believe Kane's most recent list doesn't include the Maple Leafs like many expected.
According to Weekes, Kane's list consists of the Washington Capitals, Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers.
Acquiring Kane would be difficult for all of these teams from a salary cap perspective, but he would give everyone on this list a significant boost and increase their Stanley Cup chances.
