Jim Rutherford was hired as President of Hockey operations for the Vancouver Canucks in December of 2021. Since then, no one could have predicted the storm of bad decisions he'd make since then.

The way Rutherford has done business with Boudreau and Bo Horvat has already had executives, agents, and plays express disbelief as it will end up costing the team talent in the future.

This is how it should happen, Rutherford has played fast & loose with talent and coaching. With how the coaching change has happened and the refusal to meet with the Vancouver Canucks team Captain's agent Pat Brisson, it feels more than just a tank job, as the implosions continue, repercussions will be felt as stated by this anonymous agent or executive.

Canadian teams already have a tough time recruiting due to multiple factors, and Rutherford added another block in the road. What will Francesco Aquilini do after Rutherford destroys the Canucks as a landing spot?
