Vegas Golden Knights broadcaster suffered significant injuries after bike accident
This season has been filled with injuries for the Vegas Golden Knights and it unfortunately it appears those injuries have transitioned off ice as well. Today it was reported that Daren Millard, the Knights' broadcaster suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident.
Millard, who will likely be familiar to Canadians, previously worked for Sportsnet in Canada. But has recently been doing both pre and post game reports for the Knights.
Millard issued the following comments:
I am beside myself missing such a pivotal game. I will be back at the desk as soon as possible to help bring you this incredible playoff chase. When I get back on the bike will be another story. Go Knights Go.
The Knights also shared the following information:
Daren Millard will miss tonight's game; he was hospitalized after a bicycle accident yesterday. He suffered significant injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
Our thoughts are with Millard as he begins the journey to make a full recovery.
