Jack Eichel is set to make his long-awaited return to the NHL in what will be his debut as a member of the Vegas Golden Knights.
Elliotte Friedman broke the news on Twitter on Monday afternoon:
Eichel was acquired from the Buffalo Sabres in November but has yet to play with his Sin City teammates thanks to a long recovery from back surgery.
A player with an elite skill set, our friends at Daily Faceoff reported on Twitter that Eichel was on the top line between oft-injured, but now healthy sniper, Max Pacorietty, and veteran Russian winger, Evgenii Dadonov.

Eichel and the Golden Knights take on the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday at "The Fortress", puck drop is 10PM ET.
