The Anaheim Ducks should be a good young team with lots of talent, but things haven't exactly gone to plan thus far In the early NHL season. This might prompt the Ducks brass to start making changes sooner rather than later.
According to Sean Gentille of the Athletic, Ducks head coach Dallas Eakins might be at risk of losing his job if Anaheim doesn't begin to show signs of improvement.
Eakins has been at the helm of the Ducks for some time now, they have a good young core, but he hasn't been able to do much with a team at this point that should be improving.
With a record of 1-3-1 through 5 games this year, you can sense that management is getting a little more frustrated then years past. Rightfully so.
Is it time for a new voice in the locker room? Have the players tuned Eakins out? With each passing game it's looking more and more like they have.
