William Nylander signs a new contract, but not with who or for what you might think
One of the benefits of being one of the top players in the NHL and playing in a market like Toronto is some of the endorsement deals. For William Nylander after his first point per game season, he's not a highly coveted player. Nylander is coveted not just by other teams, but by advertisers as well.
For most of his contract Nylander has been a loyal user of Bauer custom sticks, but it appears that has changed. Today footage leaked of the new promotional material for Nylander's new agreement with Sherwood.
Nylander isn't the only high profile stars switching to Sherwood as Matthew Tkachuk made the switch recently. Sherwood has also come to an agreement with Connor Bedard, who will likely become the face of the organization going forward.
This is a great move for both the players and Sherwood, who were in desperate need for a change to their marketing strategy.
