Winnipeg Jets place 26-year-old center on waivers
The Winnipeg Jets have been very active on the NHL waiver wire this season. Today that continued as the team placed 26-year-old center Mikey Eyssimont on waivers, for purposes of sending him to the AHL.
Eyssimont has played most of his career in the minors leagues but has seen stints with the Winnipeg Jets over the last two seasons. In 18 NHL games he has 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points.
Cavan Fitzgerald of the Carolina Hurricanes, who was placed on waivers yesterday has cleared and will be assigned to the AHL.
