Young New York Rangers forward can't catch a break, leaves game in Dallas after crashing into the boards
This was supposed to be a promising season for New York Rangers forward Vitali Kravtsov. After rescinding his trade request from New York, he came to camp focused and ready to prove himself. Now the trouble with Kravtsov is staying healthy enough to be in the lineup on a regular basis.
In this afternoons game with the Dallas Stars Kravtsov crashed into the corner boards awkwardly with Stars defensemen Jani Hakanpaa.
Both players where skating towards the corner boards when Kravtsov tried to step in front of Hakanpaa and win the race to a loose puck. Once he skated in front of Hakanpaa he lost his footing and crashed into the boards hard. Kravtsov immediately grabbed his head with both arms. Check out the video replay below.
Kravtsov headed to the Ranger dressing room and has not returned. This is only the fourth game all year that Kravtsov has skated in. He was already hurt opening night against Tampa Bay. Let's hope this injury is not serious and Kravtsov has a chance to prove himself with the Rangers.
